This is the liver cleanse tea from the amazing liver and gallbladder flush book by Andreas Moritz.
Herbs include Dandelion Root, Comfrey Root, Licorice Root, Agrimony leaf, Wild Yam root, Barberry Bark, Tanner's oak bark, Milk Thistle Herb, and Burdock Root (this is a substitute for bear's foot herb because I haven't been able to source it. I will be growing it in my garden this year so it will be added into the tea this summer) Burdock root is an herb that may promote detoxing of the liver and it may help to pull heavy metals safely out of the body. I will also be considering adding Pao d'arco because that is another herb that Andreas Moritz recommends.
Directions: Take 2 tablespoons and place in 24-32 oz. of water. Let sit in a cold infusion for 6-12 hours. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes. It should cook down to 2 cups. You can drink the 2 cups throughout the day in between meals. If there is extra keep it in the fridge to stay fresh for the next day. Always heat before drinking though. It is recommended to drink this tea for 7-10 days.
